Q: What does the website migration service entail? Will my site be safe?

That’s the reason why we will perform all that for you for free!Our expert technical staff representatives will move your web site content from your present hosting provider to us. Our technicians have got broad experience migrating web sites and are able to take care of everything – from a standard WordPress–based blog or Joomla™–driven website, to a highly complex, custom–built app.

Q: How long will it take for my website to be migrated over to your platform?
A: There are many factors to take into account – the overall number of web files, the size of the database, the complexity of the web site itself and the current workload of our web site migration experts, etc. Yet, we do our very best to perform all web site migrations within a 48–hour time window. Less sizeable websites are migrated much faster – typically in less than 24 hours.

Q: What data will I be required to provide to your Website Migration Department?
A: Yep. We will need to have the name of the site that you wish us to migrate. We’ll also need a way to log into your present hosting account so that we can get the content pertaining to your website.

Q: My current web hosting account has delicate data inside. How can I rely on you?
A: Customer privacy is indeed one of our greatest responsibilities – this is why, both our payment transaction page and our Control Panel login page are secured with enterprise–class digital certificates. Q: How about downtime? Will my site be offline?
A: While we migrate your website, it will be available both in your hosting account with us and in your account with your old web hosting provider. As soon as the migration is complete, we’ll make sure that everything is working properly and that the integrity of your web content is not jeopardized prior to notifying you that the migration is done. Then we’ll instruct you how to move the domain to your web hosting account with us and how to update your DNS records.

Q: Will my present web hosting provider need to provide any info/assistance?
A: Nope. We’ll never contact your hosting provider about anything. They will not be aware of the web site migration either.

Q: Which web hosting platforms do you support?
A: Yes. We support all traditional Linux–powered hosting platforms. We don’t support Windows–powered web hosting platforms, because we do not offer Windows hosting services ourselves.In addition, we do not support proprietary website building and administration interfaces like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
